PC Maintenance Technician Systems Support Specialist

This position involves maintaining analyzing troubleshooting and repairing computer systems hardware and peripherals. The role includes supporting user account information performing routine problem solving and coordinating with vendors to ensure system reliability.

• PAY RANGE: $25.00

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain user account information including rights security and systems groups.
• Provide routine analysis and problem solving of network or PC software hardware or peripherals.
• Contact and coordinate with hardware or software vendors for service if necessary.
• Install computer hardware software and peripherals for new employees.
• Install new software packages and upgrades.
• May control password assignment.
• May aid in the development of system documentation and procedure manuals as required.
• May facilitate and conduct training sessions for company employees in the operation of software/hardware systems.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Excellent customer service skills required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two-year degree or equivalent preferred.
• General knowledge of a wide variety of software hardware and PC operating systems preferred.
