Job Summary
TheTom Wood Groupin IndianapolisIndianais currently searching for aPayroll Specialistto join our team.The ideal candidatewill be a detail-oriented professionalwitha deep understanding of payroll processes and regulations. They will excel atmaintainingaccuraterecords ensuring compliance and providing exceptional support to employees.
Responsibilities:
Process biweekly payroll & supplemental payrolls for more than 1000 employees
Process all payroll reporting after each transmittal
Send out biweekly and supplemental payroll reports for various store locations
Follow up with management teams on time & attendance functions as well as time offapprovalson a weekly basis
Administer garnishments and child support administration
ADP reporting functions for Executive management GM Office Managers and others
Verification on new hireinformationin ADP system
New hire reporting toapplicablestates
Handle termination paperwork andmaintainterminated employee files
Other payroll duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous payroll experience preferred experience with ADP Workforce Now.
Associates/undergraduate degree in HR BusinessAccountingor equivalent work experience in payroll area.
Ability to partneracrossorganizations including Finance Sales Marketing Operations IT Senior Managers and Employees.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
A high levelof confidentiality/discretionrequired.
MUST have a valid drivers license with a cleanrecord.
