Position Summary:

Courtesy Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Payroll Director to lead payroll operations. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll processing compliance with federal and state regulations and oversight of payroll systems and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee payroll operations and ensure timely processing of payroll
• Manage payroll systems reporting and compliance processes
• Ensure adherence to tax laws and payroll regulations
• Monitor withholding deductions and reporting accuracy
• Support payroll audits and regulatory reporting
• Develop payroll policies and procedures
• Collaborate with HR finance and leadership teams
• Supervise and develop payroll staff

Essential Functions

The essential functions of this position include:

• Analyzing complex payroll data and financial reports
• Managing payroll systems and large-scale employee data
• Sitting and working at a computer for extended periods
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive employee information

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

• Bachelors degree in business accounting or related field
• 5 years of payroll experience
• 2 years of supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and tax compliance

Preferred:

• Experience with multi-state payroll operations
• Experience with large employee populations
