Dudek is seeking ameticulousPayroll Data &Reporting Specialistto enhance payroll operations through data analysis andeffective data reporting. This role will focus onmaintainingand monitoringdata integrityacross allcurrent and future payroll data platformsto consistentlyensurecontinuitythroughouta multitude ofpayrollworkflows.Essential contributions of this rolearetoproactivelyidentifyinconsistencies in payroll dataasit relates topayment posting reporting and compliance.
Advanceknowledge andapplication ofongoingdisciplines such asmultiple statepayrolllawspayroll operations payroll systemsandpayroll reporting arekey to success in this role. The position partners closely withPayrollLeadershipInternalDudek DepartmentsSpecial Teams andExternal Entitiesto delivertimelyand thoroughinsights and practical solutions thatenhancepayrollrelatedefficiencyaccountability and scalability.
*Work Environment: This role will be on-site for the first 90 days after which eligibility for hybrid work will be evaluated.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Analytics and Reporting:Developschedulemaintain andprovideessentialpayroll reporting and data matrix.Establish validating reports for internal and external usethatincorporates payroll laborand earnings detailsfordepartmental auditsora range ofreconciliationneedsthat;identifydata flux anomalies and discrepancies; and troubleshoot data issues.
- Systems and Data Integrity:Validateworkflows data integrations andsystem exceptionsor fallouts toensure alignment betweenall payrolloperatingand paymentsystems;maintaindata consistency across platformsto meet expectationsfor employee and employerrecords.
- Configuration and Testing:Support system configuration updates inpayroll systemsfordepartmental export and import files templates andbusiness changeswith impact to payroll systems;participateinimplementations and conducttesting for payrollupdates to all related systemsprior to go-livebenefitsenrollments andothersystem enhancements.
- Audit and Compliance:Supportyear-roundauditreadinessmonthly quarterlyyear-end reporting andaccuratetax filings through data validation reconciliations and documentation; proactivelyidentifyand mitigate risks. Work closely withpayrollleadership onsupplemental payrollruns quarterly adjustment runsand prior quarter adjustment runs to ensurecompliancealignment withtheaccountingcalendarandfullinclusivenessof all necessary and known adjustmentsinatimelymatter.
- Payroll Processing Support:Providepre- and post-payroll audit checks data validation andcompliance reviewfrom ongoing data integrity audits and reporting.Ensure payroll teams are aware of systemdiscrepancies or potentialissues for resolution prior to closingperiods prematurely. Crosstrain on key payrolloperationprocessestoreduce departmental vulnerabilities asdeterminedby payroll leadership.
- Tax and State Compliance Support:Assist withcreating andmaintainingstatetaxrecordsclient responsibletaxfiling andBLSreportingdata.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business or related field preferred
- 5 years of experience in payroll data analysis or related field
- Strong analytical andcritical thinking skills
- Experience working with payroll systems
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strongdiligenceand organizational skills
- Ability to manage confidential information
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 YearsExperience with Dayforce
- Experience withDeltekVantagePoint or similarsystems
- Professional services industryexperience
- Prevailing Wage Certified Payrollexperience
- Experience with systems implementations and special projects
- CPP or FCPcertification.
Compensation: $43.00-$48.00 hourly*
*Finalagreed-upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to an individuals related experience education certifications skills and work location. Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check prior to beginning employment.
Working Conditions
- This joboperatesin a remote or office-basedenvironmentand this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones printers etc.
