Pronto Staffing is seeking an experienced payroll and benefits professional for a stable office position.

Job Summary

Pronto Staffing is hiring a Payroll and Benefits Specialist to support a busy office team. This role focuses on making sure workers are paid correctly and on time while managing employee benefit programs. The ideal candidate has experience with payroll systems and enjoys helping others with their human resources questions.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly or biweekly payroll accurately and on time

• Maintain and update employee payroll records

• Help with new hire onboarding paperwork and system entry

• Support benefits programs including enrollments and employee questions

• Answer team member questions regarding pay taxes and benefits

• Keep all sensitive employee pay and medical records private and secure

Requirements

• Previous experience in payroll processing is required

• Experience with the Texas Retirement System (TRS) is required

• Understanding of FMLA COBRA and workers compensation

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook

• Professional communication and public relations skills

• Must speak and understand English
