Join a payroll HR and accounting team where your expertise directly impacts 1800 employees across the US and Canada. This role offers real ownership over the payroll lifecycle from processing to compliance to process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Process and audit bi-weekly/semi-monthly US and Canadian payroll (multi-state multi-provincial)
- Manage employee transactions: salary changes benefit deductions garnishments leaves of absence terminations and stock/equity payments
- Onboard employees from Workday into ADP Workforce Now ensuring proper system access
- Review timecards and resolve pay discrepancies before payroll finalization
- Partner with HR and Tax on 401(k)/RRSP administration workers comp and audits
- Maintain SOX 404 controls for US and Canadian payroll
- Provide system training and support to employees and managers
- Recommend and implement process improvements
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- 4 years processing US multi-state multi-cycle payroll
- 2 years processing Canadian multi-provincial payroll
- ADP Workforce Now experience highly desired
- Workday/HCM and SAP experience a plus
- CPP certification preferred
- Strong analytical organizational and communication skills
