About the Role

We are seeking a detail oriented Payroll Administrator to support our automotive dealership by ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. This role is essential to maintaining compliance supporting department leaders and delivering a smooth payroll experience for all employees.

Responsibilities
  • Process weekly/biweekly payroll for all dealership departments

  • Review and verify time cards commissions bonuses spiffs and technician flag hours

  • Maintain accurate employee payroll records including new hires terminations and pay changes

  • Ensure compliance with federal and state wage and hour regulations

  • Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies promptly

  • Partner with HR and department managers to ensure accurate labor reporting

  • Manage payroll tax filings garnishments and required deductions

  • Prepare payroll related reports for accounting and leadership

  • Support year end processes including W2s and audits

  • Maintain confidentiality of all payroll and employee information

Qualifications
  • Previous payroll experience required; automotive dealership experience preferred

  • Knowledge of dealership pay plans (commission flat rate hourly salary)

  • Experience with payroll systems such as ADP Paychex Paylocity CDK Reynolds & Reynolds or similar

  • Strong understanding of wage and hour laws

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication and customer service mindset
