Work Schedule - Monday-Friday days

What a Patient Scheduling Representative will do:

• Schedule outpatient hospital procedures over the phone while providing a high-level customer service experience.
• Obtain verify orders and referrals from providers.
• Obtaining patient demographics.
• Verify that ordered procedures have been authorized by insurance.
• Provide instructions to patients on test / procedure preparation.

What Patient Scheduling Representative will need:

• High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Terminology
• Data entry and technical skills including 50-60 keystrokes per min.
• Preferred previous experience min of 1 year in medical office or hospital-based setting.
