Advanced Dentistry of South Florida has been serving the community since 1982 and is proud to be the official dental provider for FAU Athletics. Our state-of-the-art multi-specialty practice brings together general dentistry endodontics oral surgery and advanced specialty care under one roof delivering an exceptional patient experience and clinical excellence.

We are seeking an experienced Patient Service Representative with prior dental office experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating outstanding patient experiences.

What Youll Do

As the first point of contact for our patients you will play a critical role in keeping the practice running smoothly while helping drive patient satisfaction and schedule success.

Responsibilities include:

  • Answering and managing high-volume inbound calls

  • Scheduling confirming and optimizing patient appointments

  • Greeting and checking in patients

  • Verifying dental insurance benefits and eligibility

  • Collecting copays and patient payments

  • Assisting patients with treatment and financial discussions

  • Managing patient communications through phone email and text

  • Supporting recall reactivation and schedule-fill initiatives

  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation

  • Collaborating closely with doctors hygienists and leadership to ensure an exceptional patient experience

Qualifications
  • Dental office experience required

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Comfortable working with computers and digital systems

  • Experience with Dentrix Eaglesoft Open Dental or similar software preferred

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively

  • Positive attitude professionalism and a team-first mindset

Qualifications
  • 4 yrs (Must have at least 4 years of hands on experience working in a dental office)
  • Experience working in a dental medical or other health-care office preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus
  • Experience answering telephone
  • Must have exceptional customer service skills
