Patient Safety Attendant Resource Team (PSA)

Job Summary
Make a meaningful difference by helping keep patients safe during their most vulnerable moments. As a Patient Safety Attendant (PSA) youll work alongside nurses and healthcare professionals to provide continuous observation and support for patients who require close monitoring.
Provide continuous observation of patients identified as high risk for falls self-injury wandering or other safety concerns
Monitor patient behavior and report changes in condition escalating behaviors pain discomfort or safety risks to nursing staff
Alert staff to episodes of wandering or attempted elopement
Promote a safe environment by remaining attentive and responsive to patient needs
Assist with personal hygiene and basic patient care activities as directed by a Registered Nurse
Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to support quality patient care
The Resource Team is ideal for individuals seeking variety and flexibility. Team members float to different patient care areas throughout the health system gaining valuable experience across multiple units and patient populations.
Must be able to float to: Midtown Gateway and Henderson
Shifts Available: Evenings & Nights
High School Diploma or GED preferred
BLS Healthcare Provider certification required within 6 months of hire
No prior healthcare experience required
Must complete 3.5 days of paid training
Entry-Level Healthcare Candidates Sitters Caregivers Healthcare Students CNAs PCTs and individuals looking to start or grow a career in healthcare.
