Shift: Evening Shift; 3pm - 11:30pm; weekend work required

Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center (HCMC) is a private not-for-profit community health care provider governed by a community-based board of trustees. Since its founding in 1973 the original 59-bed short-stay hospital has grown into a comprehensive acute care medical center with 226 licensed beds. We specialize in womens and childrens services surgery cardiology oncology orthopedics gerontology psychiatry emergency services and community health education.

Job duties affect patient care through the completion of tasks which permit others to provide direct patient care. Work requires communication outside of the work group and external contacts require providing or obtaining factual information. Were seeking a proactive detail-oriented professional with strong interpersonal skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment communicates effectively with patients and team members and is comfortable using multiple computer systems while managing competing priorities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent required
• Associates degree preferred
• One (1) year demonstrated experience interacting with the public

Salary Range: Minimum 19.21/hour - Maximum 22.20/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
