Patient Care Technician Surgical Medical (SMCC) (PCT)

Job Overview

As a PCT on SMCC youll work sideâbyâside with nurses to provide handsâon care for surgical and medical patients. Youll assist with hygiene mobility vital signs documentation and compassionate support including care for patients nearing the end of life. This role is ideal for someone who wants meaningful patient interaction real clinical exposure and a team that helps you grow.

What Youll Do

• Assist with bathing oral care toileting and linens
• Support safe mobility repositioning and transfers
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Document patient information accurately
• This role includes exposure to bodily fluids and sensitive patient situations
• Safely lift/move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) within six months
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of required PCT classes
