About us

Highpoint Health- Sumner has been providing quality health care to Middle TN for 65 years. Since opening in 1959 we have grown from one facility with just 50 employees and 7 physicians to a comprehensive health care leader in the community with more than 1000 employees and 300 physicians. Today we operate as a 167-bed healthcare facility and provide quality care in numerous areas of health care.

How youll contribute

As a Patient Care Technicianjoining our team youre embracing a vital mission dedicated tomaking communities healthier. This includes:

• Assisting patients with performing activities of daily living
• Providing or assisting with providing direct patient care
• Observing and recording patient behavior and activities
• Reporting any changes in physical mental or emotional condition to nursing staff and suggesting modifications to treatment plans
• Assisting with POC testing and EKGs as needed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalentrequired
• State of TN CNA licensepreferredcan be considered without high school diploma or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire
• 1 year certified nurse tech or EMT experience preferred
