Job Summary
Dayton Physicians Network is looking to add a Patient Care Tech or STNA to our independently owned Urology practice!
Summary:
The Patient Care Tech or STNA assists physician and practitioners with patient care administrative environmental and organizational tasks.
Must obtain Medical Assistant Certification 90 days upon hire and upon successful certification Dayton Physicians will reimburse the certification cost in accordance with the organizations reimbursement policy.
Schedule: Monday through Friday; 4-10 hour shifts or 8-5 hour shifts
No weekends evenings or holidays!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greets patients and assists with patient flow. Including assisting with turning over exam rooms escorting patients and managing the collection of specimens.
- Putting away daily stock deliveries.
- Works effectively as a team member in the delivery of care and assists the clinical team to keep clinical schedule on time.
- Maintains good working relations with staff through appropriate communication.
- Be professional in appearance attitude and communication.
- Scanning and indexing documentation including working in Adobe Docusign software.
- With specialized training and written approval may perform additional and specialized tasks pertinent to the assigned area.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and/ or Experience:
- High School or Equivalent
- Medical Office experience preferred.
- If STNA must haveCertification and be a current Ohio State tested nurse aide.
General Skill Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Microsoft Office including Word Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with a Practice Management system is preferred.
- Attendance and punctuality are essential requirements of this position to provide excellent customer service to both our internal and external stakeholders.
