Job and Ideal Candidate:

Responsibilities include the following:

• Address patient questions and requests via phone in person and through the portal including but not limited to record requests referrals prescription refills etc.

• Understand patient needs and triage appointments so that patients are scheduled with the correct specialists

• Prepare patient electronic files prior to visit e.g. insurance verification prior authorization etc.

• Prepare and send written and electronic patient communications

• Coordinate across teams to help address patient requests and concerns

• Optimizemedical providers schedules to make sure their time is efficiently devoted to patient care

• Ensure patients at risk of skin cancer scheduleappropriate followup appointments

• Greet patients and handle patient check in/out for appointments

• Provide patients with exceptional service as measured by patient satisfaction surveys and reviews

• Assistwith open houses and events

• Associatesdegree or equivalent work experience

• Proventrack recordof working well on teams and delivering excellence

• Excellent verbal and written skillsrequired. Customer service experience a plus

Schedule:

This is a full-time position with business hours Monday to Friday. This position is based inColorado Springs and includes working from multiple locations such as Briargate Northgate Broadmoor and Central.

Reviews:

Vanguard Skin Specialistsbelievesin providing regular feedback and encouraging professional development. Your first check in with HR will be approximately90 daysfrom your date of hire. Written annual reviews take place each fall. For individuals with <6 months of tenure by fall review but >6 months tenure at spring review then theinitialreview will take place in the spring review.

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation is $20-23per hour with eligibility for overtime. The practice covers aportionof the premium for medical benefits and offers vision dental and 401K. The position also comes with paid time off continuing education stipend bereavement pay paid maternity & bonding leave and employee discounts on products and aesthetic services.

Physical Working Conditions:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 90%

• The other10%occasionally move about inside the office to accessfilingcabinets officeprinters etc.

• Operate a computer and other office machinery such as a calculator printer copier scanner or fax

• Be able to communicate accurately effectively andfrequently

• Ability tooperatein a demanding work environment with a fast-paced and high-pressure setting

• Canidentifycolor on the computer and software used
