Patient Care Assistant

Caregiver Dialysis Companion
Location: Lake St. Louis MO
Schedule: Monday Wednesday & Friday 11:00 AM 3:00 PM
Hours: 12 hours per week
Position Type: Part-Time

Cornerstone Caregiving is looking for a dependable and compassionate caregiver to provide companionship and support to a client during her dialysis appointments.
This is a sitting/companionship position only. The caregiver will remain with the client during dialysis to provide comfort companionship and assistance as needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide companionship and a reassuring presence during dialysis.
Stay with the client throughout the scheduled shift.
Assist with basic needs as appropriate and within the caregivers scope of duties.
Monitor for any changes or concerns and communicate them to the appropriate family member or Cornerstone Caregiving staff.
Maintain a positive respectful and professional relationship with the client.
Complete required care notes and documentation for each shift.
Communicate promptly with the office regarding any concerns or changes in the clients condition.
