Position: Patient Benefits Analyst
Location: Onsite - Jackson MS
Duration: 2 Years plus
Job Summary):
- Analyze and review patient coverage for scheduled appointments to determine patient responsibility for payment.
- Accurately document insurance coverage and patient responsibility information in Epic.
- Identify trends in patient coverage and collection of patient responsibilities across 88 clinic locations.
- Recommend process improvements to optimize revenue collection and third-party payments.
- Communicate effectively with clinical and operational leadership regarding coverage patient responsibility and revenue cycle issues.
- Utilize Epic PB and clearinghouse systems for revenue cycle reporting claims adjudication and data analysis.
- Interpret real-time eligibility (RTE) and conduct third-party coverage discovery.
- Requires RHIA/RHIT/CPC certification; Epic PB certification preferred.
- Experience with public/community health physician clinics FQHC/RHC revenue cycle and healthcare is preferred.
