• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

• 2 years of customer service experience (Required)
• Two years experience in an environment where conflict resolution skills were utilized to manage complex communications difficult people and situations; and facilitating the conversion of diverse opinions/thoughts (Preferred)
• Mediation Experience (Strongly Preferred)
• Healthcare Experience (Preferred)
• Microsoft Office Experience (Strongly Preferred)
• Patient Advocate Experience (Preferred)
• Proficiency in Drafting Business Letters (Strongly Preferred)
• Strong Documentation Experience (Preferred)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages inclusive of base pay incentives and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $24.44 - $38.57 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials standby/on-call pay overtime shift premiums extra-shift incentives or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications experience location market conditions and business needs. Sentara Leigh Hospital located in Norfolk VA is a 274-bed acute care facility that opened in 1903 and relocated to its present site in 1977. Our hospital completed a renovation in 2016 including two new patient towers a beautiful atrium and a multi-story parking garage. Sentara Leigh Hospital includes a dedicated Orthopedic Hospital providing patients access to a full continuum of orthopedic care from the preoperative phase and surgery to rehabilitation and home care services. Along with being a recognized accredited Primary Stroke Center and Magnet hospital for nursing excellence we also specialize in orthopedic and spine care heart vascular maternity care and general surgery. We are also home to the regions only 24-hour hyperbaric oxygen program that helps speed up the healing of carbon monoxide poisoning wounds that wont heal infections in which tissues are starved for oxygen airborne chemical exposures and scuba diving accidents.
