As our Patient Access Representative you will serve as the essential first point of contact for patients ensuring a seamless and positive healthcare experience. You will play a critical role in the revenue cycle by managing accurate patient registration verifying insurance eligibility and maintaining confidential electronic health records. By facilitating smooth access-related workflows you will contribute directly to our mission of providing high-quality patient-centered care while ensuring compliance with privacy standards and organizational policies.
Every day you will utilize multiple hospital systems to perform registration scheduling and documentation tasks with high precision. You will be responsible for gathering and updating patient demographic and insurance data communicating financial responsibilities to families and collecting payments at the time of service. Your daily routine will involve collaborating with the broader healthcare team resolving routine registration discrepancies and escalating complex issues to ensure that clinic and provider workflows remain efficient productive and focused on patient needs.
To be successful in this role you will possess a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of relevant experience in a healthcare patient access setting. You should have a solid working knowledge of insurance payers real-time eligibility verification and standard medical documentation procedures. Strong administrative and computer skillsspecifically in Microsoft Office and data entryare essential along with a professional demeanor excellent communication abilities and a commitment to maintaining the highest ethical and confidentiality standards in a fast-paced medical environment.

- 1 year relevant experience in healthcare patient access setting is preferred along with knowledge of the following: patient registration procedures and documentation knowledge of health insurance payers and real-time insurance eligibility verifications.
