Description:
Registers or pre-registers patients by conducting the patient interview to obtain complete and accurate demographic and financial information. Patient is processed in a professional and efficient manner to avoid delay of treatment. Obtains complete and accurate financial information for correct billing and to secure reimbursement.Part Time weekend days position. High school diploma required; two years of college or prescribed course of study in business or healthcare field preferred. Spanish speaking preferred. CPAR (HFMA Certification) or CHAA (NAHAM Certification) preferred. CPAR CHAA or departmental certification must be obtained within 2 years of hire. One year experience in health care environment or customer relations required.
