Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Patient Access Associate to join our Patient Accessteamin the Emergency DepartmentinBolivarMissouri someone who leads with skill compassion and a drive to positivelyimpactevery patient and family we serve.

• Shift Differential:$1.00

What Your Day Looks Like:Wework to make the patientsinitialcontact with Citizens Memorial Hospital a pleasant stress-free experience and to gather theappropriate patientinformation tomaintainan accuratemedical record.

As aPatient Access Associate you willbe:

• Registering accounts for CMH ambulance reports accurately andefficiently.

• Creating a friendly atmosphere for those seeking services in the Emergency Room.

• Completing registration of allPre-ERaccounts accurately andtimelybased on notification of medical screenings being performedin accordance withEMTALA guidelines.

• Ensuring correct insurance mnemonics arelistedand billing addresses are given.

• Cross-training when applicable to function in various areas of Patient Access.

Qualifications:

Education:High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:Customer service experience- minimum of 1 year

Skills:Preferred knowledge of medical terminology

Licensure/Certification:N/A

Physical Requirements:Ability to work at a computer 90% of the day and stand for the remaining 10%
