Job Description

  • Counsel clients on patent and intellectual property matters across a range of technologies and industries.
  • Manage patent prosecution counseling licensing enforcement and related IP matters.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities to expand your practice.
  • Leverage your portable book of business and business development skills to grow long-term client relationships.
  • Assist with complex patent and IP disputes litigation administrative proceedings and other contentious matters as appropriate.
  • Advise clients on intellectual property strategy licensing assignments transactions and business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and professionals on sophisticated domestic and international IP matters.
  • Stay current on developments in patent law USPTO practice emerging technologies and intellectual property trends.
  • Represent the firm professionally in client meetings industry events professional organizations and business development activities.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of patent or intellectual property attorney experience.
  • Engineering degree or strong technical background.
  • Active USPTO Patent Bar license/registration.
  • $100000 portable book of business.
  • Strong client relationship management and business development skills.
  • Excellent legal research writing analytical negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a sophisticated legal team.
