Parts Warehouse Specialist

Alta Equipment Company is seeking a full-timeParts Warehouse Specialist for our Case Power and Equipment of PA dealership at our Cranberry PA location. The primary responsibilities of the position consist of but are not limited to:Selling of partsPull package and deliver partsAssists customers and/or technicians with locating and providing the correct part(s)Ensure all paperwork related to deliveries are complete and correctPick up items from vendors or transfer items between Alta facilitiesCheck in unpack and put away partsPick package and process parts for deliveries via shipping vendorsCheck order accuracy before each deliveryMaintain department order and cleanlinessAssist in physical inventory countsIncorporate Altas Guiding Principles into daily activitiesPerforms other duties as assignedConsistent regular and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start timeQualifications:A minimum of one year of previous heavy equipment auto or truck parts counter experience desiredHigh school diploma/GEDBasic mechanical understanding and the ability to identify by sight and by name the parts of an industry related piece of equipmentExcellent communication skills and professionalism is requiredProper phone etiquetteEquipment operation: Forklifts and hydraulic hose making is preferredComputer programs - Microsoft Word Excel Outlook Epicor/Silk systems Vendor web portalsLanguage Skills - Basic: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers clients and other employees of the Skills - Basic: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement volume and Ability - Basic: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
