Compensation: Starting Pay $23.29 an hour - paid weekly
Shift Available:Days (Monday - Friday) 7am to 3pm
Job Summary:Ensures all maintenance and production spare parts are readily available to support operational needs.
Essential Functions:
- Daily Cycle Counting
- Receive and organize incoming shipments
- Maintain accurate stocking levels
- Create and maintain cost savings spreadsheet
- Maintain manual inventory spreadsheet
- Locate and purchase new stock additions
- Work with vendors and maintenance staff to obtain emergency materials
- Input order requisitions
- Track transactions in and out of inventory
- Establish reorder points for high use spare parts
- Follows all Company established rules and policies
- Adheres to all Safety rules and regulations
- Completes paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensures housekeeping in area(s) of responsibility is safe clean and tidy
Responsibilities for stockroom
- Pull parts from inventory for work orders
- Perform inventory checks
- Maintain documents related to parts
- Perform data entry functions
- Organize and maintain stockroom area
- Receives stores and distributes material equipment supplies and/or tools.
- Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications.
- Maintains inventory levels and stock records.
- Inspects accepts or rejects materials received
- Compiles stock records for stockroom warehouse.
- Performs periodic inventories as required
- Counts sorts or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt.
- Stores articles in bins or locations as required
- Fills orders or issues supplies from stock.
- Distributes stock among PM work orders keeps records of material issued.
- Moves or transports material or supplies to other departments.
- Cuts Reqs to fill orders
- Performs other work related duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or equivalent; one year of inventory control material handling or stock room experience; WMS experience preferred
- Software knowledge in SAP and Maintenance Connection.
- Dynamic self-starter proactive
- Ability to work in a team environment and coordinate with internal and external associates
- General lifting of parts (up to 40-50 lbs.) may be required as a daily job task
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment while following departmental process and procedures relying on judgement and experience to plan and accomplish goals
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Conveys material from storage or work sites to designated areas
- Counts weighs and records number of units of material moved or handled on daily production
- Requires critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong work ethic (willingness to work overtime as needed including Saturdays)
- Must be fluent and able to read and write English
