Job Summary
Reports to: Parts Manager
Pay: $45000 - $100000 per year
The Parts Outside Salesperson is responsible for driving sales of International parts and services by proactively engaging with customers who operate rolling fleets and related equipment within an assigned territory. This role focuses on building long-term customer relationships identifying new business opportunities and delivering tailored solutions that align with each customers operational needs.
A strong emphasis is placed on customer satisfaction professional service and maintaining a positive brand image. The Parts Outside Salesperson is expected to consistently meet sales and profitability targets while representing the company with integrity and a deep understanding of the parts and services offered.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunitiesby analyzing market trends researching customers and collaborating internally to generate profitable sales leads.
- Grow and maintain the customer basethrough proactive engagement value-driven sales meetings understanding needs and budgets and building long-term relationships representing International Truck products and services.
- Develop and present tailored solutionsby creating accurate quotes negotiating offers addressing objections and ensuring clear communication to secure customer satisfaction.
- Close salesby fulfilling legal and business requirements coordinating delivery and administering deals per company processes.
- Track and report sales activityby analyzing wins/losses following up with customers and preparing KPI-based performance updates.
- Participate in company market or vendor driven sales blitzes trade shows and annual job specific employee and customer events to include periodic training and development off site.
- Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented cultureby participating in team initiatives upholding confidentiality pursuing professional development and contributing to business goals.
- Leverage business understandingto support informed decisions improve performance and drive sustainable growth aligned with customer industries and needs.
- Persuade and influence stakeholdersby building relationships understanding perspectives and securing buy-in for initiatives and strategic directions.
- Maintain comprehensive product knowledgeof International IC Bus and all other related OEM offerings aligning value propositions with customer needs and business objectives.
- High school education or equivalent
- Relevant work experience in active sales for minimum of 2 years preferably Business to Business (B2B)
- Required commercial trucks/trailers knowledge and understanding of customer and industry business
