Become a part of our team and immerse yourself in a company that fosters aGreat Place to Workculture!VVG is looking for a Parts Manager to join our team in Chandler AZ for following hours: Monday-Friday between 7:00am-5:00pm!ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PURPOSEThe Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the parts department and running a profitable and efficient parts Manager accomplishes objectives through the use of proper purchasing procedures inventory control staff utilization security pricing merchandising displaying and Parts Manager must be an investment advisor and profit producer and is responsible for supervision of around 47 QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or the equivalentFifteen (15) or more years of experience in parts department of trucking industrySupervisory experienceExcellent customer service skillsStrong communication skillsSales experience preferredManagerial skills experienceMust exhibit leadership qualitiesMust exhibit teamwork qualitiesShows InitiativeStrong verbal and writing skillsComputer proficiency and accounting skillsProfessional personal appearancePRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIESDetermines vehicle condition under supervision by conducting preventive maintenance Inspections oil changes chassis lubrication while identifying worn and damaged parts installing component and part upgrades on light medium and heavy-duty tractors and other inspections under supervision at customers location with a service truck which could include inclement weather at times. Maintains the service truck to standard including cleanliness and service calls dispatching to provide diagnosis and repairs related to vehicle breakdowns. Corrects vehicle deficiencies identified by repairing replacing adjusting disassembling and assembling components in all major equipment system areas.
