Parts Coordinator (Refrigeration)

Job Summary
The Parts Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the inventory and distribution of parts within the organization ensuring that all necessary components are available for maintenance and repair operations. This role requires a keen attention to detail exceptional organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various departments. The Parts Coordinator plays a pivotal role in maintaining the efficiency and productivity of the companys operations by managing the supply chain and ensuring that parts are accurately documented and readily accessible.
Oversee the inventory and distribution of parts within the organization
Ensure all necessary components are available for maintenance and repair operations
Maintain accurate documentation of parts and inventory levels
Quote parts per customer request
Assist service department by retrieving parts and equipment quotes from vendors as needed
Communicate effectively with various departments to fulfill parts requirements
Manage the supply chain to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement
Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for part orders and deliveries
Monitor and forecast parts usage to maintain optimal stock levels
Develop and implement inventory control procedures
Assist in the training of staff on parts management processes
Other duties as assigned

Ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
Coordination with suppliers and vendors
Proficiency in monitoring and forecasting parts usage
Experience in developing and implementing inventory control procedures
Ability to train staff on parts management processes
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or related field preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in parts inventory management or similar role
Experience with inventory management software and ERP systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Knowledge of automotive or manufacturing industry is a plus
Certifications such as APICS CPIM or CSCP are advantageous
Ability to travel occasionally to attend meetings trainings and events.
Ability to sit stand and walk for long periods of time.
Ability to use a computer phone printer scanner and other office equipment.
Ability to lift carry and move up to 25 pounds of files documents and materials.
