Become a part of our team and immerse yourself in a company that fosters aGreat Place to Workculture!What Youll Do:The Parts Department Back Counter Person performs a variety of customer service duties focusing and relating to the delivery of parts and accessories to companys service technicians and service department that contribute to the efficient safe and profitable operation of the dealership parts Back Counter Person is responsible for counter parts sales providing technicians the parts they need and providing excellent customer Duties:Assists Service Department and technicians with parts and availability needed to perform repairsIssues parts to repair orderMaintains customer goodwill by interacting positively with customersFulfills customer requestsProvides price availability and quotations for customersPlaces orders for customers according to customer specificationsFollows prescribed cash credit and check processing procedures of the dealershipPulls parts for techniciansUpdates emails to the Service Department as neededAccepts warranty parts from techniciansCalls vendors to procure parts as neededProcesses core for returnsProcesses new returned parts as requiredAssists in keeping parts department clean and orderlyRecords all sales and/or customer transactionsPerforms routine housekeeping tasks to maintain area cleanUses dealership equipment and resources safely and proficientlyContributes to team effort by accomplishing tasksCalls customers with parts issuesAssists in resolving customer complaints and concerns and ensures the problem is corrected to the customer and dealerships satisfactionRequired Skills and Qualifications:High school diploma or the equivalentFord Experience requiredThree years or more OEM dealer experience with heavy-duty trucks and partsDemonstrated knowledge of truck engines transmissions and rear axlesKnowledge of after-market vendorsExcellent customer service and communication skillsKnowledge of supplies equipment and mechanical partsRequired language proficiency to effectively communicate with customersAbility to interpret customer needsPhysical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
