What Youll Do
- Prospect and acquire new parts and service customers within an assigned territory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Conduct sales calls and site visits to better understand customer operations challenges and opportunities
- Promote parts and service solutions that support customer uptime and performance
- Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline and territory growth strategy
- Prepare quotes present pricing negotiate effectively and close business while maintaining margin targets
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
- Partner closely with parts service and operations teams to ensure timely accurate and seamless customer support
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customer questions concerns and issue resolution
- Maintain accurate CRM activity pipeline updates customer records and sales forecasts
- Meet or exceed sales goals KPIs and activity targets
- Track and report sales performance pipeline activity and territory progress
- Monitor market trends competitor activity and customer feedback to identify opportunities
- Support marketing campaigns promotions and customer events
- Identify customer pain points and recommend solutions that improve service responsiveness and overall customer experience
- Escalate urgent customer issues appropriately while maintaining ownership and follow-through
What Were Looking For
Required:
- Minimum of2 years of sales experience
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel locally for customer visits
- Strong communication relationship-building and follow-through skills
- Ability to work independently manage a territory and prioritize effectively
- Experience using CRM systems Microsoft Office and mobile sales tools
Preferred:
- Outside or field sales experience preferably in parts automotive fleet heavy duty construction equipment or related industries
- Experience selling truck trailer diesel construction or fleet-related parts and service solutions
- Knowledge of dealership service or fleet operations
- Strong negotiation and consultative selling skills
- Proven ability to identify customer needs and translate them into solutions that drive value
