JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
This position requires you to have received a work-study verify if you have received a work-study award please consult the Financial Aid Award Summary area in your LionPATH account.A Federal Work Study award does not guarantee a job is available.The Office of Undergraduate Studies and Outreach in the College of Health and Human Development is hiring for the 26-27 Academic year and has several part-time work-study positions available in the following areas: Center for Student Advising and Engagement and the Associate Deans Office. Hours can vary up to 15 hours per week.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
Customer service
Answer and direct incoming telephone calls
General office support
Support for student events
And other duties as assigned
Requirements and qualifications:
Must have excellent customer service skills
High level of reliability and responsibility
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Current progress towards completing a Bachelors degree
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Must have a current federal work-study grant
The starting hourly rate for this job is $12.00.
Federal Work Study job performance is evaluated either annually or through ongoing mentorship. Students who received a Federal Work Study award have the opportunity to obtain a joband perform related duties eitheron campus orremotely if possibleand at the discretion of the employer.
