Part Time Student (Undergraduate) Engagement Worker

The Office of Student Engagement within the Division of Student Affairs invites applications for an undergraduate student part-time for the following roles within the office. (10-15hrs/week $15.00/hr.) hourly job.

• This studentprovidessupport and leadership organizing and implementing co-curricular opportunities for our diverse student community such as Welcome Week Fall Fest Spring Fling Nittany Excellence Gala De-Stress Fest Leadership Symposium & NSO among other events.

• Posting flyers lost & found answering phones greetingguestsand living room game & equipment sign-out.

• Student Engagement Evening activitiesmonitorwhennecessary.

• This student provides evening support in the SEC living room andmonitorgame & equipment.

• Other duties as assigned are based on the needs of our evolving office responsibilities.

• The successful candidate must be a current/incoming Penn State Harrisburg and be in good disciplinary standing with the University.

• The candidate should be a team player self-starter who demonstrates preemptive thinking pays extreme attention to detail has excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) exhibits strong organizational skills and possesses a proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel and management of social media platforms.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988 Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security such as those concerning alcohol and drug use crime prevention the reporting of crimes sexual assault and other matters.
