Part Time Statistician

Summary: Reporting to the Assistant Athletic Directorfor Media the part-time statistician will assist with game day operations.

Work Performed: Work in a variety of different capacities toassist with game day operations. This isa part-time position which will work mostly in the evenings and atweekends.

Perform other relatedduties incidental to the work described herein.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High school graduate.

Experience: Applicants must have excellent written andverbal communication skills. Must beable to work effectively independently and as part of a team. Must be computer literate. Knowledge of NCAA rules statistics andathletic terminology highly desirable.

Human Sexuality

Sexuality is oneof the ways the marriage covenant between a husband and a wife is sealed andexpressed. Marriage is Gods unique gift to reveal the union between Christ andHis church and to provide for the man and the woman in marriage the frameworkfor intimate companionship the channel of sexual expression according tobiblical standards and the means for the procreation of the human race. Allforms of sexual intimacy that occur outside the covenant of heterosexualmarriage even when consensual are distortions of the holiness and beauty Godintended for it. The promotion or practice of a homosexual lifestyle (includingsame-sex dating behaviors) is also contrary to theuniversitys corevalues. The promotion of transgenderism fails to uphold the universitys core values.

Education:

Deuteronomy6:6-7a . . . these words which I command you today shall be inyour heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children . . . Matthew28:19-20 . . . make disciples of all the nations . . . teaching themto observe all things that I have commanded you . . . Christianity is thefaith of enlightenment and intelligence . . . All sound learning is thereforea part of our Christian heritage. The new birth opens all human faculties andcreates a thirst for knowledge. Moreover the cause of education in the Kingdomof Christ is co-ordinate with the causes of missions and general benevolenceand should receive along with these the liberal support of the churches. Anadequate system of Christian education is necessary to a complete spiritualprogram for Christs people.
