Job Summary
Part-Time SNAP Speech-Language Pathologist
Special School District (SSD) speech language pathologists help students develop the communication skills needed to access and benefit from their education. As a part-time Speech Language Pathologist serving the Special Non-Public Access Program (SNAP) you will provide assessment and intervention services for students attending private parochial and home schools throughout St. Louis County. Through individualized therapy collaboration with families and educational teams and the development of targeted communication goals you will help students strengthen their speech and language skills build confidence and make meaningful progress. Your expertise will help ensure that students receive the support they need to participate more fully in their educational environments while working in a flexible role serving a diverse community of learners.
Education and Experience
- Masters degree in communication disorders required
- Minimum of two years speech/language teaching experience in schools or other comparable settings preferred
Certificates Licenses Registrations
- Missouri licensure in speech pathology or a DESE certificate required; CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence-Speech) preferred
Salary
- $42/hour
