Job Summary
* 3-5 Years of RN Strongly Preferred* Pediatric and Acute Experience Preferred.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Allergy Nurse to join our dynamic fast-paced clinical team. This role involves providing specialized care to pediatric patients with allergic and immunologic conditions across multiple satellite locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct oral food challenges and drug challenges
- Perform skin prick and intradermal allergy testing
- Administer biologic therapies and monitor patient response
- Manage environmental allergen immunotherapy and oral immunotherapy treatments
- Provide comprehensive patient and family education
- Perform phone triage and address patient and parent concerns
- Complete prior authorizations and assist with care coordination
Key Skills:
- Strong clinical skills in acute pediatric nursing preferred
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team-based and fast-paced environment
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness and ability to travel between satellite locations in Boston Newton and Danvers

Summary
Accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care assessment of patients clinical decision-making regarding nursing care assuring nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner providing individualized nursing care and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients.

Essential Functions
- Maintain accurate detailed reports and records.
- Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
- Record patients medical information and vital signs.
- Monitor record and report symptoms or changes in patients conditions.
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess plan implement or evaluate patient care plans.
- Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients responses and conditions.
