18.60 USD Per Hour

Working Location:

Yucca Valley CA

Working Hours/Shift:

8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Days to be determined by school)

What you bring to SBHG:

  • Currently enrolled in a masters program focused in the field of Mental Health

  • Valid California Driver License

How you will make a difference:

This role is primarily one of students where the Practicum Student is in close contact with the Clinical Supervisor in all facets of the position. The Practicum Student has responsibility to both their university and the practicum site per their individual learning agreement. Under the guidance of the Clinical Supervisor this position has responsibility for mental health and case management services to adults children adolescents and their families experience.

Division/Program Overview:

  • Valley Stars Full-Service Partnership is for adults ages 18 to 59 and provides mental

  • health services and linkage support to community services.

  • Services are provided in the office at home or in community locations.

  • Services for adults include:

  • Individual and family counseling

  • Group Counseling

  • Psychiatric care

  • Medication management

  • Crisis intervention services

  • Intense case management

  • Housing and vocational support

  • Independent Living Skills Training
