We are seeking a reliable detail-oriented Part-Time Apartment Grounds Porter to keep our multifamily community clean welcoming and beautiful. This position focuses on maintaining excellent curb appeal thoroughly cleaning common areas and managing our community pet stations. If you enjoy working independently staying active and being outdoors this role is perfect for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Pet Station Management: Empty clean and sanitize all dog waste stations daily. Restock dog waste bag dispensers. Clean the immediate surrounding grass and sidewalk areas.
- Common Area Cleaning: Sweep mop vacuum and dust the leasing office clubhouse fitness center and laundry rooms. Sanitize high-touch surfaces and clean glass windows/doors.
- Restroom Upkeep: Clean disinfect and restock supplies in all community and amenity restrooms.
- Grounds & Curb Appeal: Walk the property daily to pick up litter leaves and debris from parking lots breezeways dumpsters and landscaped areas.
- Trash Out Assistance: Help the maintenance team remove remaining trash or heavy items from vacant apartments during turn-overs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Previous cleaning janitorial or groundskeeping experience is a plus but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to stand and walk for long periods bend kneel and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Weather Tolerance: Ability to work outdoors comfortably in various weather conditions (heat cold light rain).
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail reliability punctual attendance and a friendly attitude toward residents.
- Background: Must pass a standard background check.
