Part-Time Motor Pool

Utah State University Eastern is seeking a dependable self-motivated individual to assist with daily operations in the Motor Pool and Surplus departments. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping vehicles clean and organized enjoys working independently and provides excellent customer service.

• Clean university vehicles inside and out to maintain a professional appearance.
• Detail vehicles including vacuuming washing waxing and cleaning interiors.
• Inspect vehicles before and after reservations for cleanliness and damage.
• Assist with vehicle scheduling and reservations.
• Check vehicles in and out for faculty staff and approved users.
• Monitor fuel levels and report maintenance or repair needs.
• Maintain accurate vehicle records and mileage logs.
• Ensure the motor pool lot remains clean organized and presentable.
• Assist with receiving organizing and storing surplus equipment and furniture.
• Help move load and unload surplus items.
• Maintain an organized warehouse and storage areas.
• Prepare items for transfer sale recycling or disposal.
• Assist departments with surplus pickups and deliveries as needed.
• Keep inventory organized and accurately labeled.

• Valid drivers license to perform essential job responsibilities such as driving university vehicles and transporting materials
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn scheduling software.
