Part-Time Lecturer Non-Degree Learning (Portland)

About the Opportunity

The College of Professional Studies at Northeastern University invites applications for a non-tenure track part time faculty lecturer in Non-Degree Learning on the Portland campus.

The successful candidate will teach on-campus and online Custom Learning courses. This position is located at the Roux Institute Portland campus. The mission of the Custom Learning program is to foster industry best practices among working professionals and to provide experiential learning opportunities so that new skills can be immediately applied at work. Successful candidates will be an expert in one or more fields of expertise:

• Data Analytics
• Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence
• Project Management

The College of Professional Studiesis one of ten colleges of Northeastern University a nationally ranked private research university. Founded in 1960 the College provides lifelong experiential learning that unleashes the capacities of aspiring individuals in all stages and walks of life. The College teaches undergraduate graduate and doctoral students on campus and online in more than 90 programs.

Responsibilities

Qualified candidates must be prepared to work with global student populations.

Teach custom learning courses to partner employees. The successful candidate will have expertise in teaching partner requested subject areas and/or with adult course facilitation. Candidate places a high value on experiential learning and classroom engagement.

Qualifications

Industry relevant experience in a partner related field. Experience teaching online courses to adult learners is preferred.
