Part Time Hoosier Link Program Coordinator

Job Summary
Hourly Rate: $15.75
Up to 28 hours per week within the work hours of Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM with some occasional evenings required.
GENERAL PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION: Hoosier Link Coordinator supports the Office of Recruitment Admission & Cohort Programs by providing support for the general day-to-day administrative operational and clerical tasks as well as assisting with recruitment-related events and activities related to Hoosier Link and admissions events.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to email and phone inquiries to the departments shared inboxes and ticketing system in a timely and professional manner.
- Respond to questions and requests from students the general public faculty administrators and staff and refers to appropriate personnel as necessary.
- Coordinate and schedule student appointments with relevant departments based on individual needs and goals.
- Attend and participate in departmental meetings Hoosier Link group meetings and/or events. This may include assisting with on-campus events such as campus visits student meetings orientations and/or other student-related visits.
- Lead or assist with campus tours including walking groups and answering questions.
- Coordinate purchasing and venue requests for the team.
- Demonstrate strong time management and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities to ensure smooth and effective operations.
- Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of student enrollment records in compliance with College and the Family Educational Rights Privacy Act (FERPA).
- Complete other duties and contribute to additional student affairs initiatives as emerging priorities arise.

- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- Ability and willingness to build and maintain professional relationships with colleagues and supervisors and support the Colleges mission and strategic plan initiatives
- Work Hours: Up to 28 hours per week within the work hours of Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Occasional evenings required.
