Part Time Faculty Jazz Studies

The South Carolina School of the Arts at Anderson University invites applications for a part-time faculty of Jazz Studies. The position is available for August University is a comprehensive liberal arts institution affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention. Candidates with a strong Christian value system lifestyle and commitment to the integration of faith and learning are encouraged to apply. Pay rates are commensurate with credentials and experience.

Qualifications: Professional experience in leading jazz ensembles and a successful record of directing jazz ensembles at the collegiate level is preferred. A doctorate or masters degree in music is preferred. A bachelors degree in music is required.
