Part-Time Endocrinologist Position – Shelton, Connecticut

The endocrinology service line is supported by a multidisciplinary team that includes primary care cardiology nephrology nutrition and other specialty services allowing physicians to provide comprehensive care for patients with endocrine and metabolic conditions.

The organization is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Endocrinologist (MD/DO) for a part-time/per diem outpatient opportunity in Shelton Connecticut.

This role is primarily focused on outpatient endocrinology with minimal inpatient responsibilities. It offers an excellent opportunity for an endocrinologist seeking flexible clinical work within a collaborative academically affiliated healthcare environment.

Experienced endocrinologists fellows and early-career physicians are encouraged to apply.

• Evaluate diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of endocrine disorders including diabetes thyroid disease osteoporosis adrenal disorders and pituitary conditions
• Provide comprehensive outpatient care with an emphasis on long-term disease management and prevention
• Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists to coordinate patient care
• Interpret diagnostic studies including hormone assays imaging and metabolic testing
• Educate patients regarding lifestyle modifications medication management and preventive care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based clinical practices

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Residency training in Internal Medicine required
• Fellowship training in Endocrinology required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
• Eligible for Connecticut medical licensure
• Experienced endocrinologists fellows and new graduates are welcome to apply
