• Clean and sanitize pots pans trays utensils and silverware to maintain a safe and efficient kitchen
• environment.
• Remove trash and recycling promptly and ensure waste is disposed of in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen by sweeping and mopping floors sanitizing worktables
• and cleaning refrigerators walls and other kitchen surfaces.
• Transport and organize supplies and equipment between storage and kitchen areas while restocking
• tools and supplies for upcoming shifts.
• Monitor and maintain temperature logs while keeping walk-in coolers and freezers clean organized
• and properly stocked.
• Support the kitchen team by assisting cooks with proper food preparation labeling dating and storage
• procedures.

• Previous experience or familiarity with food service safety and sanitation guidelines preferred.
• Comfortable using kitchen equipment hand tools and machinery required for daily operations.
• Ability to work efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

• Prolonged periods of standing and working in a kitchen.
• Exposure to extreme heat steam and cold present in a kitchen environment.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
