The Company:

Their integrated care model includes primary care pharmacy dental behavioral health prevention programs and community health initiatives.

The Position:
Our client is seeking a Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join their outpatient dental team. The Dental Hygienist will provide preventative dental care patient education and support comprehensive oral health services for a diverse patient population. This position works closely with dentists EFDAs dental assistants and other healthcare professionals in a collaborative team-based environment focused on improving patient outcomes and access to quality care.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting while maintaining compassionate patient-centered care. This provider will play an important role in promoting preventative dental health and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices.

Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:

  • Part-Time Schedule:
    • Tuesday: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
    • Wednesday: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
    • Thursday: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
    • Every Other Friday: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
  • Provide preventative dental hygiene services including cleanings periodontal charting scaling polishing fluoride treatments and oral health screenings
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene preventative care and treatment recommendations
  • Assist dentists in identifying oral health conditions and treatment needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation within the EMR system
  • Provide culturally competent care to a diverse patient population
  • Collaborate with dentists EFDAs and dental assistants to deliver efficient patient-centered care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocol development
  • Build strong relationships with patients and community referral sources

Requirements:

  • Active and Unrestricted Ohio Dental Hygienist License
  • Local Anesthesia Certification Preferred
  • CPR Certification
  • Comfortable treating both adult and pediatric patients
  • Experience working in a dental setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills
