Location: School-Based Program Site
This position will support before and after school programming at Voyager Academy which supports elementary and middle/high school students.
Reports To:Head Coach/Site Leadership
Schedule:Part-Time (Before & After School Programs School Breaks and Summer Programs)
Monday-Friday: 6:30AM-8:15AM and 3:45PM-6:00PM*
*schedule may vary slightly based on location

Position Overview
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children As a Resilience Coach you will help create a safe engaging and supportive environment where students can build confidence develop life skills and thrive.
This is an active hands-on role that combines mentorship enrichment recreation and academic support. We are looking for positive energetic team members who enjoy working with school-age children and creating meaningful connections every day.
Key Responsibilities
Student Engagement & Support
- Build positive relationships with students and create a welcoming environment.
- Serve as a role model by promoting respect responsibility and resilience.
- Support students through positive behavior guidance and conflict resolution.
- Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
Program Delivery
- Lead engaging enrichment recreation and team-building activities.
- Facilitate homework help and academic support sessions.
- Participate in games fitness activities and outdoor play.
- Help students develop social-emotional and leadership skills.
Program Operations
- Assist with daily program setup and cleanup.
- Support student check-in attendance and dismissal procedures.
- Maintain an organized safe and positive learning environment.
- Follow all company policies licensing requirements and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- 18 years old or older
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have completed the Basic School-Age Care (BSAC) training
- 2 semester hours in child/youth development AND 2 semester hours in school-age programming
- Experience working with children in schools childcare programs camps recreation programs or youth organizations preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Positive attitude patience and a genuine passion for youth development.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.Physical Requirements
- Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities.
- Ability to stand walk and move throughout program hours.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally.

Pay: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour
