Position Details:

Job Type: Part-time non-exempt seasonal (August 2026-May 2027).

Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:30pm -6:00 pm (required)

Start Date: Mid-August 2026

Location: On-site at Austin ISD elementary schools

We partner with Austin ISD to provide after school care on-site at 11 elementary schools in the southwest Austin area.

Job Duties Include:

• Teachers actively supervise planned activity centers free play and facilitate games that emphasize teamwork and sportsmanship.
• Our teachers lead engaging activities that allow students to both explore new talents and build on known skills.
  • Activities include but are not limited to sports arts and crafts painting science and engineering gym games sewing and cooking!
• Provide mentorship to the students and foster positive relationships with students and parents
• Serve as a teacher and positive role model to the students
• Ensure the health and safety of the students at all times and compliance with licensing rules and regulations

What Were Looking For:

• Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Preferred: 1 years of work experience or experience working with children
• Required: Ability to work 5 days per week M-F 2:30pm - 6:00pm
• Bilingual in Spanish is a huge plus!
• Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs and be able to stand and be physically active for long periods of time
• Joy for children and a desire to make a difference in their lives
• Candidates must meet all TDFPS requirements have reliable transportation and be dedicated and VERY DEPENDABLE.
• Must pass a state-run criminal background check before starting employment
