The Parking Maintenance Lead maintains and enhances parking facilities managed by Parking Services. This position performs handson maintenance work including repairing parking assistance devices cleaning parking facilities and performing minor equipment servicing. As a working lead the role provides daytoday task direction and onthejob training to temporary employees ensuring proper equipment use and safe work practices.

• High School/GED(degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)

• Two years of experience in general trades maintenance or a related facilities field.

• Certifications Registrations and/or Licenses:

  Have before hire and maintain after hire a valid drivers license. A valid drivers license must be maintained for the operation of an OSU vehicle which is required to perform the job duties as assigned

• Skills Proficiencies and/or Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of general maintenance principles
  • Ability to recognize issues and apply basic problemsolving
  • Understanding of workplace safety practices hazard awareness and PPE use
  • Basic computer and recordkeeping skills
  • Strong organization timemanagement and communication skills
