Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in leading directing and training by staff and volunteers.
• Experience in evaluating work performed by others.
• Experience using a variety of tools materials and equipment to maintain park facilities and grounds to include mowing landscaping tree work and upkeep on trails.
• Knowledge of basic construction and maintenance trades such as carpentry plumbing electrical work and masonry.
• Experience in vehicle maintenance including small/large engine repair and hydraulic systems repair.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff guests and preparing correspondence/reports.
• Experience using computers and software applications.
• Valid Drivers License.

Additional Considerations

• Experience operating large equipment.
• Experience overseeing workplace safety OSHA compliance and safety training.
• Experience managing/operating public water systems.
• Demonstrated experience interacting with park visitors providing information relating to park rules park activities or providing similar customer service activities in a comparable environment.
• Demonstrated experience with supervising grounds keeping maintenance construction or other work related to the upkeep and operation of recreational areas.
