PRO Pediatric Services is seeking exceptional Paraprofessionals to provide services within a local intermediate unit.
Job Details:
- Location: Scranton PA
- Schedule: Full-time 10-month position. M-F 8am-2:30pm. Hourly position; you are only paid for the hours that you work
- Caseload: K-12 Autistic Support Multiple Disabilities and Life Skills classrooms
- Requirements: Must have an Associates degree or higher and have at least one year of recent experience working in a school-based setting.
- Additional Details: Paraprofessionals will work with students 1:1 during the school calendar year and will follow the school calendar for days off holidays etc. Summers are off; ESY may be available but is not guaranteed.

Job Description:
Our Paraprofessionals are vital members of the school team. They work with our district partners to deliver high-quality services to a variety of students grades K-12. Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide one-on-one support to students with disabilities or special needs in a school setting
- Assist with mobility positioning and personal hygiene as needed
- Support students in classroom activities communication and social interactions
- Help implement behavior management strategies under teacher and therapist guidance
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with teachers therapists and parents regarding student progress and needs
What You Bring:
- Must have an Associates degree or higher
- A minimum of one year recent experience working with children in a school setting is required
- Must be comfortable using a computer
- Must be able to complete clinical documentation to school district standards
- Current clearances (within 6 months)
