Paralegal – Subpoena Response Team

About your role:

As a Paralegal on the Subpoena Response Team you will review research and prepare responses to third-party legal requests including subpoenas investigative demands and related inquiries. You will work closely with in-house counsel external counsel and business partners to administer requests maintain matter records and support timely accurate responses that protect legal and business interests.

What youll do:

• Review subpoenas investigative demands information requests and related legal documents to identify response requirements deadlines and relevant business contacts
• Prepare and send responses to third-party legal requests in coordination with in-house counsel external counsel and internal stakeholders
• Record process and monitor incoming requests filings and orders using matter management systems and shared repositories
• Respond to status inquiries and escalations from issuing parties and internal teams with accurate updates and next steps
• Research related matters supporting records and available resources to help determine response scope and required documentation
• Maintain electronic case management tools shared file rooms and databases to support tracking reporting and retrieval of legal matter information
• Support program administration reporting special projects and process improvement activities related to third-party response operations

Experience youll need to have:

• 3 years of experience in paralegal legal operations or legal analyst work supporting subpoena response investigative demands records requests or similar third-party legal matters
• Experience reviewing legal documents tracking deadlines and coordinating document collection and responses in a regulated business environment
• Experience using matter management systems document repositories and database tools for legal matter tracking file management and reporting
• Bachelors degree or higher in Legal Studies Business Criminal Justice or related field or equivalent combination of education related experience and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

• Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal operations credential
• Experience preparing written correspondence and legal response materials with accuracy organization and attention to deadlines
• Experience supporting third-party response programs in financial services payments or consumer data environments
• Experience working with in-house counsel and external counsel on subpoena or investigative response matters

How youll work:

• This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
• This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
