You can explore the details of our benefits offering by visiting the following link: Paralegal directly supports attorneys and legal team members within Johns Hopkins Health System Legal Services by gathering reviewing editing drafting and organizing a wide range of legal documents and files while providing administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient daily operations. This role is responsible for preparing reviewing and editing both routine and complex agreements including consulting agreements service agreements non-disclosure agreements and amendments and addenda to existing contracts. A key focus of the position is supporting technology-related agreements such as software licensing arrangements and SaaS contracts. The Paralegal also conducts research related to corporate transactions to ensure all information is accurate complete and properly documented; maintains legal files and records; coordinates correspondence and document management activities; and prepares clear concise reports and summaries for leadership within established timeframes.

We are only able to consider candidates who currently reside in or are able to relocate to states approved for employment with Johns Hopkins Health System. Approved states include Maryland Virginia Washington DC Florida Pennsylvania and Delaware.

Education: Associates degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field is required. A bachelors degree is strongly lieu of an associates degree a paralegal certificate is required.

Required Licensure Certification On-going Training:

Paralegal Certificate is required if Associates Degree is not obtained.

Work Experience:

A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience.

Salary Range: $26.51/hour -$43.76/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
